Background information
The Northern Ghana Network for Development (the NetWork) was established in 1995 and registered in 1996 with the Registrar General Department as an independent NGO umbrella organization. The NetWork's main objective is to facilitate the capacity building of its membership to plan and implement poverty reduction initiatives at the grassroots. The majority of the members of the NetWork are involved in promoting grassroots livelihood food security and good governance in northern Ghana.
