OBJECTIVES
The overall objective of G-RAP is to improve the funding base of Research
and Advocacy Organisations (RAOs), to enhance their capacity to carry
out evidence-based research and advocacy, and to promote networking
activities in support of pro-poor and gender sensitive policies in Ghana.
Specific objectives include:
-
Expanded knowledge base on public policy priorities
-
Progress in gender and equity inclusive policy processes
-
Institutional development of established RAOs
-
Increased autonomy of RAOs
-
An active and inter-active community of RAOs
-
Local networks and constituencies set up and animated by RAOs
-
Assistance to emerging RAOs
G-RAP uses a
Logical Framework
to steer the programme to its objectives. The Logical Framework is a
‘living document’ and is amended regularly to meet changing
challenges in the dynamic governance environment G-RAP operates.
